User Interface Design
Software should cater to how you work, and not the other way around. Poorly designed software gives little or no thought to how users think and work in real life.
During the requirements gathering and design phase of every software project, we determine who will be using the new system and in what capacity. Supervisors may default to a summary view of the daily progress, while clerks may default to their most often used data entry screen. When a particular user interacts with the software, what do they do most often? The common cases must be made easy and fast. And the flow of the system must match how users work. After entering all accounts payable, an accountant shouldn’t have to navigate four screens deep to print checks; printing follows posting accounts payable in the natural workflow.
At Iron Horse, we’re experts in tailoring software to the way people work. Give us a call to discuss how we can build a solution for you that fits like a glove.
